Olev OolupFounder, CEO and shipwright of Uuniq OÜ Over the years Olev has acquired his know-how both from the workshop and from the sea. Olev has been messing about in boats already from the young age. His devotion in sailing sport and vigor for improving his skills has lead him on the podium in several times – Olev is four time Estonian champion in Folkboat class and three time Estonian champion in Monotype XV ice sailing class. In latter class he has won bronze medal twice on European championships. About half a dozen years ago Olev got deeply interested in canoeing and paddling and since then he has been participating in Türi-Tori and Võhandu marathons. In 2019 Olev participated in Võhandu marathon first time on uuniq’s wood-composite double canoe and thanks to its radical and lightweight design they managed to improve their rankings significantly. Boat building and renovation has playing important role in Olev’s life almost two decades by now – over the years he has accumulated extensive shipwright skills while taking care of his wooden Folkboat, building ice yachts and maintaining pleasure crafts while working in Yacht-Service OÜ. After graduating Tallinn university of technology, specializing in Small Craft Building in 2015, Olev started a job in Linex-Boat OY boat yard, specializing in building North Star patrol-type of powerboats. Ott OolupShipwright of Uuniq OÜ Similarly to Olev, Ott has been messing about in boats already from childhood and later on they have won four times Estonian championship in Folkboat class. Hence the extensive know-how and experience in restoring and building Folkboats. Boat building and renovation has playing important role in Ott’s life likewise – after graduating carpenter specialty in Haapsalu vocational education center, he enrolled into boat building and maintenance courses in Kuresaare vocational education center. After which Ott has been working as a woodwright in various companies and since 2018 he has been accumulating valuable experience in Linex-Boat OY boat yard, specializing in building North Star patrol-type of powerboats.
